Make it Yourself: Silky French Lavender Bath Powder

This makes a super gift – one you made yourself! Not based on dangerous talc, it’s the ideal present to give in a glass bottle with a shaker, and a big fluffy duster.

What you need

1 cup cornstarch

½ cup rice flour

¼ cup dried lavender flowers, finely crushed

4 drops lavender essential oil

What you do with all this:

Mix the ingredients in a glass bowl, stirring well to distribute the lavender and oil.

Carefully pour the powder into a glass container with a shaker lid, and cap tightly.  Makes 250g
