COMMENT FROM SALLY-ANN
I get so many queries from people all over the world asking me my
opinion on water, and which would be the best type of water to drink.
Having had our own steam distiller for 6 years now (we sometimes use
2 to keep up with the amount we drink!), Bill & I can honestly say
that it's one of the best health decisions we have made.
We had just gone to
the enormous expense of plumbing in a carbon filtration system some
years ago, when we "discovered" distilled water. We found it very
interesting to note that the carbon-filtered water left as much dirty,
disgusting, smelly sediment in the bottom of our distiller, as the tap
water and bottled water did! After just a few litres, we poured out
the sediment by adding a few drops of water, and wanted to vomit at
the smell & sight of the contents. That's what you drink when you
drink tap or bottled water! Ever seen what your kettle element looks
like when you've had it a few months? A nasty green, very hard
sediment forms on the element, and this is the
same inorganic mineral deposit
which forms in your arteries and goes into your body! Conversely, we
bought a new kettle a few years ago, and to this day it does not have
a single piece of sediment on it
since using only distilled water - still looks brand new.
Even better - try
boiling only bottled mineral water
in your kettle for just a few days
- the element is covered in a hard mineral residue in a fraction of
the time that normal tap water would do it! We tried it, and were
horrified at the enormous levels of inorganic mineral deposits in the
bottled water as opposed to the tap water.
A home
steam-distiller takes everything out of the water including parasites,
chlorine, viruses, fluoride and bacteria - and the inorganic minerals
which your body cannot use (don't be fooled into thinking you can
actually use those inorganic
minerals in water) and which build up in your arteries and joints -
and leaves you with the pure water God intended you to drink. Rain
water is naturally distilled
drinking water. The only problem these days with rain water is that
it has to pass through the pollutants in the atmosphere, making it not
so pure to drink anymore.
I had a few queries
about the question of pH, and set out to discover what
bottled water pH really was.
Firstly, please note that the stomach has an acidic environment, and
whatever goes into the stomach is dealt with by the stomach acid in
that acidic environment - that's how we were designed, and only an
acidic environment can digest everything and anything which enters our
stomach. Anyway, I looked at many bottled waters, and I was intrigued
to see that the pH levels were between 5.2 and 6.4! Distilled water
has a much higher pH, closer to 6.8 in fact. So if this is your
argument, you are far better off drinking distilled water! Don't
forget - parts of our body are supposed
to be acidic - as in the case of the stomach, colon and skin.
If not, we die! So as usual, a little knowledge can be a dangerous
thing - don't be fooled.
Remember the Carte
Blanche programme on the E.coli (amongst other bacteria) found in
bottled mineral water? It seems all the bottled water they
tested had something undesirable
lurking in it and a lot was worse by
far than tap water! Today our water
is polluted, our air and soil is polluted, and we can't trust bottled
water as our only source of water - none of it is pure. We can have it
when we go to restaurants maybe - but too much of it would prove
dangerous because of the inorganic mineral content (in this case, tap
water would be safer in the long term). So by removing all the nasties,
together with the inorganic minerals your body cannot use, you get the
very best God intended for your body when you drink distilled water.
All the respected authorities and experts agree on this, and having
seen wonderful changes in people who have used distilled water, I've
been convinced for a long time. I was sent a nice piece of text from
which I've quoted extracts below - thanks Marcelle!
"What is Pure Water?
Let's answer this by asking, "What
isn't pure water?" Would you drink dirty water from your
dishwasher, car radiator, swimming pool, dog water bowl? No! Why?
Because it is dirty and full of undesirable matter. We put the
BEST FUEL in our cars for the
BEST PERFORMANCE, likewise we
require the BEST WATER for our
bodies. Dirty water & mineral water is hard water. It's not easy to
wash dishes in hard water; and boiling hard water in a kettle leaves a
dirty chalky rim of insoluble matter on the inside of the kettle.
Obviously hard water is inefficient at cleaning the human body; and,
when drinking this water that holds impurities or mineral solids
suspended in it, these solids will as surely leave deposits in your
system as they do in your kettle.
Pure water is the
opposite, it is empty (or near empty),
making it a softer water. Rain water used to be depended upon for
drinking water to a greater extent, than it is today around the world.
In most locations, rain water is not as pure as it once was because of
the great amount of air pollution. One of the most well known long
living groups of people in the world, are the Hunzas, and they drink
glacier water. Glacier water is equivalent to
DISTILLED WATER. Rain is water that
is distilled without the help of man. Fog is distilled water before it
is condensed into drops.
Rain, snow and ice,
are all "cationic" (energy attracted to
earth). In the process of transpiration, water in the colloidal
form of steam or mist, becomes "anionic", and is attracted up to the
Van Allen Belt, and accumulates in the stratosphere. This process is
nothing more than God's natural WATER
DISTILLER. All unwanted inorganic and organic matter is
stripped from the water molecule except miniscule particles of
essential anionic calcium, potassium and chlorine.
(Calcium, potassium and chlorine in an
anionic form can be assimilated by the body. Calcium, potassium and
chlorine in a cationic form cannot be assimilated, and are removed via
distillation.) Thus, DISTILLED
WATER is not totally empty, but contains within itself, a few
highly acceptable minerals in a colloidal & organic form.
PURE DISTILLED WATER is
classed as a high energy water. That means the water molecules have
very little within them to tie up their magnetic energy. The
distilling process polarizes (makes
electronegative) each water molecule. Distilled water also has
a high electrical resistance, and a low conductivity, due to its pure
state. This results in soft and wetter water, that is, it has a lower
surface tension making it far superior for moving energy in and
throughout cell membranes. Distilled water is sweet to taste.
Hard water places a
heavy burden upon the kidneys which increases the salt levels in the
blood and other body tissues. The body literally stacks salts up in
areas, hoping that the system will be able to remove them before too
long. When these salts are not removed, eventually the degeneration of
the system's chemistry becomes exaggerated. Cardiovascular disease is
the effect produced by excess conductivity. Kidney disease is on the
rise from the same cause.
The higher the
mineral content of MINERAL WATERS,
the higher the danger to your health. To understand the harmful effect
of mineral water is to understand cytology, or the cells structure and
function. The elements of the mineral kingdom cannot be assimilated
directly by the human / animal cell. They must first go through a
process of linking with amino acids first. In the plant kingdom is the
link for getting minerals into human life efficiently. The plants can
take in the mineral directly, especially when it has colloidal
phosphate available to It. All minerals
(with the exception of nitrogen) need colloidal phosphate to
link up with, so its journey into the plant is simplified. Once in the
plant, the phosphated minerals become a part of the cell structure
after going through recombining processes in the energy cycles of the
plant cells. These energy cycles put the mineral into a chelated form.
That is, the mineral ends up linked with amino acid complexes in the
plants structural tissue. When man eats the plant, the mineral complex
in the plant amino acids can then be easily converted by human enzyme
activity, into molecular structures on the human frequency.
In nature water is
also distilled during all the metabolic functions of the plant. So
when you are drinking a fruit juice, you are actually drinking water
that the plant has distilled and placed organic mineral-sugar
complexes within. However, fruit juices can not take the place of
plain distilled water. Juices contain the mineral sugars that make the
body recognize the liquid as a food and not as plain water.
Lastly, when it comes
to minerals - remember this rule: your body can
only assimilate a mineral if it has
been through the root of a plant. That's why drinking vegetable juice
(which you make yourself) contains
distilled water with organic minerals. Plants love inorganic
minerals - that's how they like the minerals delivered to them - but
we are not plants. We need them in organic form - and we can only
obtain organic minerals from plants and whole-foods. I hope this
clears this up this question for good!
